Virtual Card enables Credit Key customers to place a portion of their existing line of credit onto a single-use digital Visa card. This way, they can use Credit Key wherever they need to make purchases for their business, beyond our existing community of merchant partners.
Virtual Card comes at no additional cost and enables all Credit Key customers to use their existing line of credit for eligible business purchases anywhere that accepts credit cards, meaning you can pay over time even with merchants who don’t yet offer Credit Key as a payment option.
All approved Credit Key customers are eligible for Virtual Card. You’ll create one card for each purchase as needed (each card is single-use). Once you know where you need to purchase from and what the order amount is, follow these steps:
To create a virtual card, follow these steps:
1. Head to your borrower portal
2. Select “Create My Virtual Card” located on your dashboard
3. Enter a few details about your purchase including the amount and vendor name and then hit submit
That’s it! Your virtual card details will be generated instantly. You can then use the card for your online purchase or add it to your digital wallet for an in-store payment.
Great question! To use Virtual Card, you’ll need to be approved for Credit Key first. You can apply via one of our merchant partners. Once approved, you can begin using Virtual Card by following the steps outlined above.
